Job Overview

Contract Administrators oversee the preparation, analysis, negotiation, and review of contracts related to the purchase or sale of equipment, materials, supplies, products, or services. They prepare bids, process specifications, and other reports, and also determine which bids are acceptable.  They handle the acquisition, distribution, and storage of equipment and supplies, and oversee the disposal of surplus or unclaimed property.  Contract Administrators liaise between the company and the vendors or subcontractors to help ensure processes run smoothly.
