Planner / Scheduler Recruiting Denver

A Planner/Scheduler is responsible for all planning and scheduling of construction work, as well as the construction work crew. The planning aspect includes selecting the appropriate technology for the job, estimating the resources needed and the duration of tasks, and defining and describing work tasks. Scheduling requires a comprehensive understanding of construction methods in order to make efficient, accurate activity schedules. Planners/Schedulers often have a strong working knowledge of several scheduling software programs. They also must ensure that the assignment and scheduling of work also is in line with company policy.

Planners/Schedulers also collect and analyze project information to prepare progress reports, and evaluate procedures to recommend improvements for efficiency in planning and scheduling. They typically report to a Construction Manager or other department head.
