Job Overview

Program Managers design and implement programs for nonprofit organizations. They assess the needs of the population that their organization serves and create programs to meet those needs. Program Managers supervise staff members and ensure that the program meets state and federal criteria for nonprofit organizations. These workers also may be responsible for collecting data that are used to evaluate the effectiveness of their programs.
