J. Kent has been recruiting and staffing for the Denver employer since 1979, and benefits from a significant amount of called in business. Our goal is to exceed client’s expectations and to add value to their business.

J. Kent Staffing is currently looking to hire energetic, outgoing sales-oriented, business savvy individual for its Denver office Recruiter/Staffing Manager position. We are seeking professional Recruiter for our Temporary/Contract Staffing Division to source candidates on behalf of our clients for all administrative, accounting, financial, operations and other office based positions (low to high level). Recruiter is also responsible for hiring and on-going management of the J. Kent Employee while on assignment during the contract period.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Accounting a plus)
  • 3-5 years’ professional sales/corporate business experience (service industry a plus)
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Will train using propriety enterprise “in the cloud” Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Must have strong corporate client focus along with relationship building skills
  • Integrity, confidentiality, strong work ethic
  • Will train in candidate interviewing and selection methods
  • Previous experience in the candidate recruitment process, candidate internet sourcing tools, methods and job boards a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our corporate clients to get a clear view on their hiring needs (strategic and financial objectives).
  • Define job description, document in ATS requirements and responsibilities
  • Follow-up with client quality checks, network and build a long-lasting relationship with clients
  • Source qualified candidates – track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels
  • Assess candidates – telephone prescreen, on-line testing to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
  • Conduct confidential interview – order background checks, drug tests, conduct reference checks
  • Present/submit shortlisted candidates or make the direct hire; provide detailed candidate summaries
  • Offer guidance to both client and candidates and facilitate the pay and bill rate negotiation process
  • Onboard candidate through electronic process
  • Follow-up and manage candidate through assignment/contract period; conduct quality checks
