What Happens After Completing the J. Kent Registration Process?

What are the chances that you can help me find a job?  How soon can I start working?

  • Job availability changes on a daily basis. Once the registration and your application process has been completed, your resume is activated for related employment opportunities (Direct Hire, Temp-to-Hire, Temporary, Part-Time) for which you may qualified based on your education, experience, skills/abilities and preferences.

How often should I contact your office regarding my availability?

  • Job availability changes on a daily basis, and if a position or assignment becomes available for which you qualify, we will quickly want to make contact with you to present these opportunities. Therefore, we do not require that you to contact us regarding your availability on a regular basis.
  • We ask that you inform us immediately if you find a job.  Otherwise, we will personally contact you for related employment opportunities (Direct Hire, Temp-to-Hire, Temporary, Part-Time) for which you are qualified based on your education, experience, skills/abilities and preferences.

What if I am offered, but not interested in, a Temporary assignment or Direct Hire position; is it all right to turn it down?

  • Not every job presented to you may meet your requirements or preferences. If you are not interested in an assignment or position presented, you are free to decline that employment opportunity.
  • We will continue to offer related employment opportunities (Direct Hire, Temp-to-Hire, Temporary, Part-Time) for which you are qualified based on your education, experience, skills/abilities and preferences.

How can I stay informed about open positions and assignments?

  • A J. Kent Recruiter will contact you if we have a possible employment opportunity for you.
  • You may also visit “Featured Jobs” on J. Kent’s website where we showcase selected Direct Hire searches and Temporary assignments from time-to-time.
