Born and raised in South Korea, Michaela received her BA in English Language & Literature from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and lived briefly in Japan before marrying and moving to the U.S. in 2005.
With fluency in Korean, Japanese, and English, Michaela quickly found a long-term home working for one of the world’s largest shipping and transportation companies as a Logistics Specialist for 10 years. After this employer closed their Colorado office, she continued to build her skill set working for a telecommunications equipment distributor.
Michaela’s 15 years of experience in logistics, order management, and customer support quickly earned her the job with J. Kent’s client, an international tool manufacturer with a U.S. office in Centennial, Colorado. As a Customer Care Specialist, Michaela will help ensure the company’s U.S. distributors – some of the largest retailers in the world – are utilizing their real-time order management system effectively, and receive merchandise from their manufacturing facility in China in a timely and efficient manner.
