Alternate Titles: Compliance Officer
Compliance Managers examine, evaluate, and investigate eligibility for or conformity with laws and regulations governing contract compliance of licenses and permits, and other compliance and enforcement inspection activities. They conduct internal audits and set up monitoring mechanisms in order to detect violations and determine corrective measures. Compliance Managers are responsible for investigating reported instances of non-compliance and, if necessary, employing an appropriate subsequent course of action. They also implement written policies and procedures, and other standards of conduct. They regularly evaluate and update company codes of conduct to ensure compliance and relevance.
Compliance Managers usually hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, though Master’s degrees are often preferred, and have a high level of integrity.
