Alternate Titles: Human Resource Information Systems Administrator
Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Administrators develop and apply computer programs to process human resources information, match jobseekers with job openings, and handle other human resources matters. Along with those duties, they are usually responsible for troubleshooting the software, guarding it against viruses, and teaching fellow employees how to use the computer system.
HRIS Administrators are responsible for organizing information regarding current employees, performance reviews, and sometimes potential candidates. HRIS Administrators typically have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field of study.
