This J. Kent Candidate, a recent-college graduate, has a solid background. Seeking a Project Coordinator position in Denver, the Candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs. candidate represented the college as a Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress in Washington D.C. Previous experience includes a full-time intern with the Office of a U.S. Senator that included assisting with casework and special research projects, event planning, drafting letters to constituents, updating internal database, answering phones and communicating the Senator’s positions on various state and federal issues.  In addition, this internship included preparing necessary evidence and documentation to launch Congressional Inquiries on behalf of veterans who have disputes with the Veterans Administration or other federal agencies. A summer-long internship included counseling individuals sentenced to probation on the conditions of their probation and terms of the discretionary programs available. While a student, candidate was a tutor for the writing center. This capable candidate will quickly step confidently into a new role.
