Colorado native, this recent college graduate, with a BS in Accounting and 2 years of professional experience seeks career opportunity in Denver.  For the last 2 years this individual was a Staff Accountant for an IT consulting firm and 1st project was to restructure accounting system to follow GAAP.  Managed all accounting function to include: A/P, A/R, payroll, taxes, bank and credit card reconciliations, cash management, month/year end close, journal entries and variance analysis.  First month after being hired found a $3,000 sales tax overpayment; filed appropriate documentation with the State of Colorado and received full refund.  This individual is looking to take passion for learning, leading and the accounting field and apply it to organizational objectives.
